UBHO Action Fund Endorses Anthony Loubet for House District 27

The UBHO Action Fund today announced its endorsement of Rep. Anthony Loubet for re-election to Utah House District 27 in the Nov. 3, 2026 general election. The endorsement is based on his support for behavioral health services in Utah.

Loubet, a Republican from Kearns, has represented House District 27 since 2023. This election cycle, he has called for clearing the roughly 7,000-person waitlist at the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, raising pay for care providers, and expanding mental health and crisis care in Utah.

In his first term, Loubet voted for H.B. 166, Mental Health Professional Licensing Amendments, and H.B. 78, Behavioral Health Treatment Access Amendments, both signed into law in 2023. He holds regular town halls across his district which have helped him become more familiar and aware of the challenges his constituents face on a daily basis.

“Representative Anthony Loubet has built a reputation for putting community ahead of politics, working across party lines to strengthen the behavioral health system. His practical, bipartisan approach and commitment to listening to constituents make him an effective and trusted advocate for the people he serves,” said Utah Association of Behavioral Health Organizations (UBHO) President, Jared Sanford.

The UBHO Action Fund encourages voters in House District 27 to return their ballots by Election Day, Nov. 3.
